Dzuleira Abu Bakar is the CEO and General Partner of Cradle Seed Ventures (CSV), a growth-stage venture capital fund and a subsidiary of Cradle Fund Malaysia. As CEO Dzuleira's role is to look into high growth businesses in the technology sector across Malaysia and the region.

Dzuleira has always been passionate about growing startups and backing talented entrepreneurs. She has over 13 years of experience in the technology, venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) industry in both the public and the private sector.

Prior to joining CSV, Dzuleira held multiple roles including the Vice President of Investment at the Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP), where she was responsible for identifying and investing in high growth technology and digital companies. There she was also in charge of the structuring and setting up of VC funds, along with managing strategic partnerships, investor relations, and corporate/government relations.

Her other attachments include Usaha Tegas Group, where she managed the Group’s fund of funds and Private Equity business as well as Khazanah Nasional, where as part of the Hasanah Foundation she worked on institutionalizing non-profit institutions and supporting social enterprises. In her earlier career, she was the Legal & Business Development Director at Astronautic Technology Sdn Bhd (ATSB), a government-backed entity in satellite technology responsible for launching Malaysia’s remote sensing satellite as well as the RazakSAT launched by Space-X where she assisted in the launch manifest.

Dzuleira holds a Masters Degree in Management from Universiti Malaya (UM) and a Bachelors Degree in Law from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM).
