His curiosity on how businesses operate and thrive came early on during his days as a student at Imperial College London. Seeing there was a lack of opportunity where students themselves could learn and create impact, Keane along with a few classmates launched a pro-bono student consultancy at his university, with projects working within the automotive, telecommunications and technology industry, startups, as well as international charities.
Keane studied mechanical engineering, and believed that his background reinforced his interests and approach to how he evaluates businesses. Keane gets excited when he meets entrepreneurs that are building businesses and products with a sophisticated level of technicality, especially within traditional businesses.
Keane’s professional experiences includes Teach for Malaysia, Ethos Consulting and has volunteered with the MASH Foundation Trust in Kenya.
He has a MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, and is often found experimenting with photography or playing drums.
