Vivy, together with co-founder and husband Fadza Anuar, founded FashionValet when they were just 23 years old. Since then, they’ve built FashionValet to the multi-million dollar company it is today, with 150 employees and carrying 500 fashion brands from Asia. FashionValet has offices and warehouses in Malaysia, Jakarta and Singapore and three retail stores in Bangsar, KL, and Singapore.
As Chief Creative Officer, Vivy currently oversees the brand image and handles collaborations and PR with her connections in the media and fashion industry.
Vivy is a strong believer of the local fashion industry via FashionValet, but she is also recognized by international brands, most recently being the first woman in hijab to be named as a Friend of Louis Vuitton and has been featured on many international media platforms such as BBC, CNBC, the New York Times and Forbes.
Amongst other topics, she shares her thoughts on entrepreneurship on her blog Proudduck.com, which garners over 250k hits per month. She is also a social media icon with over 900,000 followers on Instagram, and also has a reality show on Astro called Love, Vivy.
She has received multiple awards, including the Icon of the Year Award from Puteri Umno in 2015 and was selected to be one of NONA’s Wanita Inspirasi. She has been nominated as Businesswoman of The Year by Bella Awards 2013, Women’s Weekly Great Women of Our Time 2015, and was selected as Top 40 Under 40 recipients by the magazine Prestige Malaysia. She also recently won the Young Entrepreneur Award, presented by the Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Hajah Haminah at the Tribute to Women’s Award 2016.
Vivy is a law graduate from London School of Economics (LSE). She married her co-founder Fadza Anuar in 2012 and they have two beautiful children.
Vivy was selected at the 69th International Selection Panel in Kuala Lumpur in February 2017.
