Calvin believes that by harnessing the power of enterprise in the right direction, it has the potential to bring about positive societal development.
Prior to joining Endeavor, Calvin co-founded a social enterprise that aims to democratise on-the-job learning opportunities for marginalized youths in Klang Valley. Calvin also worked as the Head of Programs for a Kuala Lumpur based social enterprise that aims to reduce poverty by improving education outcomes of marginalized youths.
To deepen his understanding on the state of development in Malaysia, Calvin was a part of National Unity Youth Fellowship by the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), a Kuala Lumpur based public policy think tank. He is also an alumnus of U.S State Department Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Academic Fellowship in University of Connecticut.
Calvin holds an MBA from the Asia School of Business in collaboration with MIT Sloan School of Management. Outside work, Calvin enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga, hitting the gym or spending an afternoon with a cup of good tea and a book.
