Prashant Kumar is the Founder of ENTROPIA – a next generation marketing services Consultancy.
Entropia has in three years since its founding, grown to 92 clients and 240+ people across South-East Asia and has been consistently ranked as the most awarded at several Asia-Pacific awards. In July 2020, Entropia was recognized as the third fastest growing large agency in the world by AdWeek, New York.
It has gone on to launch a big data offering – Sentient; a personalized marketing service – Roxy; an extended reality offering – EXR; and Aladdin – a B2C IOT offering, thus helping businesses make the best of Industry 4.0.
Prashant served as CEO of IPG Mediabrands Malaysia (NYSE: IPG) and under his watch it became the #1 Media agency in the world out of 900 agency offices rated by RECMA Paris - the industry rating body, twice in a row. He also led the agency won Agency of the year awards 7 times in a row. The business grew from #9 to #2 in the market in 7 years.
At 36, he took over as the President of IPG Mediabrands Asia (NYSE: IPG) overseeing 3.8 billion dollars in billings. He turned the region into the fastest growing in the network on the back of rapid digital transformation, and a slew of next gen offerings.
As one of the foremost communications and digital marketing experts in Asia-Pacific, he has worked with a slew of global and Asian corporations such as Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Exxon, Sony Microsoft, KFC et al.
Prashant served on the prestigious Cannes Lions Ad festival jury in 2009 as one of the youngest, apart from being a Jury member at Crystal Global festival, France and Dubai Lynx Awards.
Prashant has been a speaker at leading global industry events such as DMEXCO Germany and Festival of Media Global, Rome apart from a series of Asia-Pacific and local conferences. He has also been interviewed by Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg for his digital leadership apart from making the cover story in the industry press half a dozen times.
Prashant has been a marketing mentor with the non-profit, Endeavor global mentoring dozens of successful new age companies for the next level of growth. In 2019, International Advertising Association (IAA) recognized him as one of the five thought leaders around the world to be honoured with the Global Compass awards.
Prashant is an alumnus of prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi; MICA Ahmedabad & Harvard Business School. He is also a budding aviator and a father of two boys.
