Vivy Yusof is Chief Creative Officer at FashionValet, a fashion e-commerce company founded by herself and her husband Fadzarudin Anuar (Fadza) in 2010. The company now with 150 employees and carrying 170 fashion brands, is based in Kuala Lumpur and ships curated local fashion brands daily to customers across the globe.
Vivy is also the co-founder of The dUCk Group, which is one of the fastest-growing brands in Malaysia selling scarves, bags, and cosmetics. dUCk is the first local scarf and local cosmetics brand to open their flagship stores in Malaysia’s prestigious mall, Pavilion, with more stores following KLCC, Setia City Mall, One Utama and on Haji Lane in Singapore. With a huge cult following in the modest industry, dUCk sells out their collections in minutes with queues outside the stores from as early as 6am. Vivy curates the collaborations dUCk partners with, and this list has included international brands like Barbie, Disney, Miss Universe, Fox Movies and even one with The Crown Princess of Brunei.
Vivy has been featured in many local and international media platforms such as BBC, CNBC, The New York Times, VICE and Forbes. She is often invited to give entrepreneurial talks as a female youth business icon, but she prefers to write her thoughts on her blog Proudduck.com. She started blogging in 2010 and that’s where she first gained her public following. Her following now includes 1.8 million followers on her verified Instagram account and 229k subscribers on her YouTube channel that she launched in 2017.
Vivy is a strong believer of the local fashion industry, but she is also recognised by international brands. She was the first hijab wearer to be named as a Friend of Louis Vuitton. Vivy was also one of the 100 influential ladies from across the globe to be part of the #DiorSaddle campaign in 2018.
Entertainment wise, Vivy had a reality show named Love, Vivy that ran on Astro Ria for two seasons- a show that revolves around her personal and professional life at FashionValet. She was also the main judge and mentor for a TV program on Astro Ria called GenF, a show to discover new fashion designers.
Vivy married Fadza in 2012. They are partners in love, life and business. They now have three beautiful children- Daniel, Mariam and Sarah.
