Eugene Lee


Eugene Lee was recently named one of Asia Pacific’s Top-50 Most Influential Marketers of 2020.

Starting at McDonald’s Malaysia in 2009 as a Marketing Executive, Eugene rose quickly through the ranks to become Marketing Director in 2016. He transformed marketing at McDonald’s and rolled out many successful campaigns, including the legendary Ayam Goreng McD relaunch, which still serves as a case study for many marketers today.

In early 2020, Eugene moved on from local market duties, and is now Regional Marketing Director for Asia, overseeing 12 markets across APAC.

McDonald’s is the world’s leading quick service restaurant chain with more than 36,000 restaurants worldwide, serving more than 69 million customers daily in over 100 countries. In Malaysia, McDonald’s serves over 13.5 million customers a month in 300 restaurants nationwide.
