Melinda Lim
ACE EdVenture Group
Melinda Lim is the Director of Schools of the ACE EdVenture Group, a network of schools bringing a fresh approach to education through dynamic and interactive learning methods.
As the Director of Schools of the ACE EdVenture Group, Melinda spearheads the group’s educational programmes where she has been at the forefront of creating new approaches to how subjects are taught.
Melinda has over 26 years’ of experience in education and has taught Chemistry and Mathematics in Singapore as well as in Malaysia. She also is Head of Sciences at ACE EdVenture Studio, which developed the world’s first Chemistry role-playing game, ChemCaper: Act I – Petticles in Peril, released in 2016. ChemCaper: Act I won “Best of e-Learning” at the APICTA Taipei 2016 and “Best of e-Learning” at the MSC Malaysia APICTA 2016 Award. It was also the recipient of “Most Meaningful Play” at the IMGA International Mobile Gaming Awards South East Asia 2016.
Melinda holds an engineering degree from the National University of Singapore. In September 2017, Melinda along with her sister Anne Tham was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in the 74th Endeavor International Selection Panel in New York.
