Prashant Kumar

Astro

Prashant Kumar is a leading AI, customer and brand expert in Asia-Pacific.

He is the chair of Entermind.ai. He also serves on the board of Astro, Malaysia’s largest media group as an independent director. He is a member of Singapore Institute of Directors, Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia and TiE.

He founded Entropia in 2016, a data-driven marketing company. In 2021 it was acquired by Accenture in their largest acquisition in SE Asia. Subsequently, he became the head of Artificial Intelligence for Growth markets (APAC, LATAM and MEA) at Accenture Song (NYSE: ACN). Previously, Prashant was the CEO of IPG Mediabrands Asia (NYSE: IPG), overseeing $3.8B in billings across 16 countries.

Prashant has served on the jury of the prestigious Cannes Lions festival; Crystal, France and Dubai Lynx Awards. He has spoken at Digital Marketing Expo, Cologne and Global Festival of Media, Rome. He has also been interviewed by Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg for his digital leadership. In 2019, IAA New York recognized him as one of the five digital marketing thought leaders around the world. He has been a visiting faculty at both IIM Bangalore and Kolkata.

His book, Made in Future (Penguin: 2022), became a bestseller on Amazon India and was covered by CNBC, ET, Outlook, Asian Age, Financial Express etc. Prashant is an alumnus of prestigious St. Stephen’s College, Delhi & Harvard Business School. As a hobby pilot, he is also a life member of Royal Selangor Flying club, KL.
